The Kansas Police was able to recover a stolen car within an hour using GPS tracking. The car was stolen from a convenience store parking. The owner reported the crime and was reassured by the vehicle dealer that they had installed a GPS tracker in the car and hence the car could be tracked down.

The owner of the vehicle was still making payments to the dealership and hence the vehicle still belonged to them. They had installed the tracking device to protect their asset and this came as a huge relief to the car owner. They informed the police and handed over the tracking access. With the GPS tracking access, the police were able to track down the vehicle within an hour.
